I love to travel. I’ve lived in countries in Europe, Asia and North America and I’ve visited many more. Now I’m a university student in the UK, which means I don’t get as much time to travel as I would like (not to mention the financial strain on my student loan) but hey, ‘absence makes the heart grow fonder’.
I get a high going somewhere new. I love exploring cities, seeing different cultures and meeting new people. I’m not the kind of person who likes to spend a week sitting on a beach, working on my tan (not only because I don’t tan – I burn to a crisp almost instantly); I need to be experiencing local life and soaking up the atmosphere.
I want to visit every continent (currently 4/7 – South America, Australasia and Antarctica to go) …then maybe I’ll set my sights on every country in the world (currently 28/193). At 22, I’m lucky to have been able to visit so many places but, without meaning to sound like a spoiled brat, it’s not enough!
